The Sensitivity
Enhancement for SCIEX API 2000 TM
The state-of-the-art sensitivity enhancement for your SCIEX API 2000
TM .
HS-2000 plus introduces a 100%
efficient collision cell that brings the SCIEX API 2000 performance
to the SCIEX API 3000 and 4000 standards and increases the sensitivity
in MS/MS of up to four times.
On-site upgrade with minimum downtime
One year warranty on upgrade components
No new training of staff is required
Guaranteed GLP compliance
Long-term service contracts
Data are acquired using a Sciex API 2000 TM and HS-2000
plus modified instrument.
Standard solutions are sampled by infusion using nebulization-assisted
electrospray ionization.
The sensitivity increase for positive mode (Reserpine)
and negative mode (Taurochilic Acid) is illustrated here before (red)
and after the upgrade (blue) for Reserpine (left) and T-Acid (right):
COMPARING THE Q1 AND
Q3 SCANS of the SCIEX API 2000 TM with HS-2000 plus
HS-2000 plus system modification of the SCIEX API 2000 brings
its collision cell up to SCIEX API 3000 and 4000 performance standards,
making it 100% efficient.
According to SCIEX API 2000 specs, the Q3 scan for positive PPG tests
for mass m/z 906, the Q3/Q1 efficiency is 40%. With HS-2000 plus, the
efficiency is 100% (Q1 single scan gives 3.0e6 cps and Q3 single scan
gives 3.1e6 cps).
For negative PPG tests, the Q3/Q1 efficiency for mass m/z 934 is 20%.
With HS-2000 plus, the efficiency is more than 100% (for example, Q1
ten scans gives 1.1e6 cps and Q3 ten scans result in 1.3e6 cps). With
high masses the improvement is even better. For the mass m/z 1746 the
Q3/Q1 efficiency of a SCIEX API 2000 is 10%, and now with 2.8e5 cps
in Q1 scan, HS-2000 plus gives 3.5e5 cps in Q3 scan.
The graphs here illustrate the positive PPG Q1 and Q3 scans efficiency
for mass m/z 906 of the SCIEX API 2000 (left) and the HS-2000 plus system
(right).
